Wildwood Programs Family and Community Services presents this free parent workshop, "Executive Functioning and the Impact on Behavior and Learning" on Friday, March 26th from 9:00 am until 11:30 am at Wildwood's Latham Office.

Liz DeLibero, Director of the Parent Network of the Capital Region presents an overview of executive functions and how deficits impact learning and behavior.  The term "executive functions" refers to a variety of higher level processes that help to direct thoughts and actions especially during more challenging activities such as active problems solving.  They are also responsible for controlling emotional responses.  Ms. DeLibero will discuss compensatory strategies and tools that can be used at home and school to help facilitate the development of executive functioning skills.

Please register for this workshop by calling 640-3300.
